Rocket Racing
Level design and production-focused R&D for Rocket Racing, created in collaboration with art, environment, audio, VFX, production, and external partners. This page gathers the individual tracks and event work documented in my portfolio.
METALLICA: THRASH MOUNTAIN
For the Metallica: Fuel. Fire. Fury. live event in Fortnite, I led the end-to-end design of Rocket Racing’s largest track at the time. The single-lap hill climb moves through lava fields to Fuel, teleports racers onto a guitar neck with rhythm-driven hazards and boost choices, and concludes inside a volcano filled with lava drops, speakers, chains, and the concert itself. I coordinated with Art, Environment, Audio, VFX, Partnerships, and executive stakeholders to meet both gameplay and Metallica goals.
FESTIVE FALLS
A novice launch track created for the Big Bang event and Rocket Racing’s release. Its curves, limited straights, signature tunnel, waterfalls, and dramatic vistas were tuned to create an approachable introduction that still delivered the visual impact required for a heavily marketed launch track.
AZURE GROTTO
An advanced tropical track released with Inferno Island. The lush, water-filled environment combines drifting, driving, and flying with multiple significant shortcuts, rewarding exploration and route mastery.
OLYMPUS
An expert track focused on wall-riding and kick-flipping. Ruined temples and Greek-mythology influences frame the course as a demanding test of skill and help distinguish it from the rest of the track lineup.
RIVIERA
A technical, high-speed expert track built as a close adaptation of the Monaco Grand Prix circuit. Tight cornering and layered shortcut options support speedrunning and high-rank competition while medieval battlements and coastal scenery give the course a distinct identity.
OUTPOST
An advanced, precision-focused course defined by tight winding sections and a vertical climbing spiral. Competitive routes reward drift-heavy maneuvers, controlled flying shortcuts, and careful obstacle navigation.
Additional imagery, videos, collaborators, and detailed responsibilities will be organized beneath each track.
